About the event
Aim: Come gain useful information that could help your profession and/or business to grow. Come hang out with like minded people, share business cards, talk about what you do and how people can contact you. Make connections and listen to qualified speakers on realtor business, online content creation, climbing the corporate ladder, buying and selling, entertainment, women empowerment, taxes and finance, hustler mentality, relationship and marriage. All the while playing games, listening to music and dancing. Come witness the all-new LED dance floor exhibition and how it works. We want all attendees to leave much better than when they came. We want them begging for more at the end of the event.
Introduction: Get ready to scale your business come 2025. More and more people are migrating into Calgary and the population explosion is beyond government’s expectations. These people will need guidance on how to navigate and become part of the community. They will need to know who to contact for various services and products. This is your opportunity to get your business or what you do in front of people. The Rec Room we are told can hold up to 500 people, but we are expecting 200 people for crowd control and quality event and engagement execution. The plan is to position Nigerians and their friends and family on a stage where they can scale their life and work balance. You do not want to miss this one.
What we are offering:
1. Platform to showcase what you do: We need 60 professionals and business owners that want to showcase their businesses to register and pay a token to have their business photos and videos shown on the big screen while they have 1 minute to introduce themselves and their business and how people can contact them. Come with your business cars to share with everyone - about 200 people.
2. Avenue to share Business Cards: Other business owners and professionals that are unable to meet the cut off mark of 60 people can still bring their business cards and pamphlets to share, but will not have them on screen or opportunity to speak using the mic.
3. Enjoy Live Entertainment: Excellent video musicals mix by your one and only DJ EL that will showcase on the large screens of the halls Afrobeat music in full colours and their dance moves. Guests will have about an hour of non-stop energy filled dance at the end of the evening. Time to get that physical exercise going for a healthy body and mind.
4. Seminar Presentation: 6 unique successful men and women of our community will be chosen to speak for 5 minutes each on a topic they have mastered and can assist others with valuable/useful information. Then answer questions for another 5 minutes, making 10 minutes each presentation. They will provide tips and tricks that can help others navigate areas of subject matter.
6. Free Parking: There is ample parking available.
7. Engaging Ambiance: Beautifully decorated ambiance with lights, LED dance floor, 360 Degree Photo Booth, camera, videos and many more to appease and inspire the senses.
8. Discounted Business Cards: Easy access to create business cards at a discounted rate in advance for use on day of event. Contact DJ EL if you need assistance designing and ordering your business card. Assisting interested participants for free. But they will still pay for the card printing and delivery.
Program of Event
1. 4pm – 5pm – Set up and sound check
2. 6pm – doors open
3. 6:15 to 7pm – Mingling, games, light music, food, drinks
4. 7pm to 8pm – Seminar Presentation
5. 8pm to 9pm – Showcase Your Business (1 minute for each speaker)
6. 9pm to 10pm – Vote of thanks, announcements, feedbacks, more music, games and mingling
7. 10pm to 11pm – Non stop one hour dancing
8. 11pm – close of event
